It was a dark and stormy Malware attack; the Keyloggers, Worms, and Trojans fell in torrents - except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a powerful antivirus which swept up the network (for it is within the internet that our scene lies), scanning along the backend files, and bolstering the scanty flame of the firewalls that struggled against the darkness.

This melo-dramatic ode to Bulwer-Lytton (1830) represents the actual information security challenges of organizations in every industry today.  In the San Francisco Bay Region there is a critical need for cybersecurity technicians.  By 2022 (Centers of Excellence) there will be over 180,000 jobs projected for Cybersecurity/Information Communication Technology (ICT) positions.
